Teaching and Research

The faculty of the Department consists of 7 professors, 9 associate professors and 3 assistant professors. We offer a wide range of courses which emphasize theories as well as applications. Most faculty members receive research grants and awards from the Ministry of Science and Technology or other organizations. The Department has held the annual Conference on Technology and Applications of Quality and Management since 1993, with the support from various industrial corporations in southern Taiwan. The faculty members also contribute constantly to the local industry in the manners of consulting services, professional seminars, and extension courses on various topics.
